Tradeify review: quick verdict

Tradeify is the best-documented prop firm we have looked at. That is a low bar in this sector, and it clears it by a distance. It names its chief executive, publishes a complete price list, operates through a CFTC-registered introducing broker with a checkable NFA identifier, names NinjaTrader Clearing as the firm holding client funds, and when it tightened its contract limits in September 2025 it grandfathered existing accounts and left the old figures published.

Every one of those sentences describes something most of its competitors do not do.

Two things to be clear about before you read on. Tradeify is a futures prop firm, not forex, so it competes with Topstep and Apex Trader Funding rather than with FTMO. And it accepts US residents, which makes it one of the few genuinely usable options for American readers.

Who runs it, and what you can check

The contracting entity is Tradeify Holdings, Corp., at an address in Boca Raton, Florida. A state filing number is not published on the site and we have not checked it against the Florida register, so treat the registration number as unverified.

What is checkable is more interesting. Tradeify Brokerage LLC, trading as Slay Markets, is a CFTC-registered introducing broker with NFA ID 0575972, stated in the firm’s own terms. An NFA ID can be looked up independently in NFA BASIC, which is more than can be said for almost any claim made by any firm in this sector. We would encourage you to run that check yourself; we have not.

Brett Simberkoff is chief executive and Vinan Mistry chief operating officer, both on the record in a trade-press interview in July 2026 rather than only in marketing copy. In that interview they described launching in 2024 after four years of development, pivoting from CFDs to futures after My Forex Funds was shut down by US regulators, and running more than 100,000 active traders with around 400 on the live book. Headcount was approaching 150 with roughly half in customer support, and they stated that technology, marketing and support are all in-house with no white-label dependencies.

A Cyprus-registered entity, Novaflame LTD, acts as payment agent.

The clearing arrangement, which is the part that matters

NinjaTrader Clearing LLC is the futures commission merchant, under an exclusive clearing and technology agreement announced in May 2026. Slay Markets operates as a retail futures brokerage with Tradeify Brokerage LLC as introducing broker and NinjaTrader Clearing as the sole CFTC-registered FCM holding client funds and executing trades.

Set that against E8 Markets, which names no liquidity partner at all, or Lucid Trading, which discloses no clearing relationship despite the largest tracked payout figures in the sector. When a prop firm tells you who holds the money, you can go and check that firm.

Pricing, published in full

Tradeify publishes a complete price list, which is worth noting because Hola Prime, Alpha Capital and Lucid Trading all render pricing client-side behind a funnel, meaning you cannot compare cost without starting a purchase.

Growth Evaluation: $25K at $99, $50K at $145, $100K at $255, $150K at $369. Resets $60 to $215.

Select Evaluation: $25K at $109, $50K at $165, $100K at $265, $150K at $369, plus a limited-release $300K at $449.

Lightning Funded, which skips the evaluation entirely: $25K at $345, $50K at $492, $100K at $660, $150K at $796.

There are no activation fees on any current account type, and platform fees are free, though market data requires signing a non-professional agreement. Round-trip commissions are $5.76 on ES and $1.82 on MES. Buying exactly five matching accounts earns a 5% discount.

Growth Evaluation rules

Profit targets are $1,500, $3,000, $6,000 and $9,000 across the four sizes. Maximum drawdown is end-of-day trailing at $1,000, $2,000, $3,500 and $5,000. The daily loss limit is a soft breach, at $600, $1,250, $2,500 and $3,750.

Minimum trading days: one. You can pass the same day. There is no consistency rule in the evaluation and no time limit. Contract limits after the September 2025 change run from 1 contract or 10 micros at $25K up to 12 or 120 at $150K.

The clearest statement of the payout-gate distinction you will find

Most prop firms blur the line between rules that stop you passing and rules that stop you withdrawing. Tradeify states it outright in its own help centre: the consistency rule only determines when you can request a payout, and does not restrict your trading in any way.

In practice: Growth has no consistency rule to pass and a 35% gate on payouts. Select has a 40% gate to pass and explicitly none once funded. Lightning has no evaluation and a progressive 20%, 25% then 30% gate on payouts.

The firm publishes the arithmetic: divide your biggest end-of-day profit by the consistency percentage to get the total balance you need. Its own example is a $1,000 best day under a 20% rule requiring $5,000 total profit before a payout can be requested. Breaching carries no trading penalty; it defers eligibility.

That is the same mechanism E8 and Alpha Capital operate. The difference is that Tradeify tells you about it in a help article with a worked example rather than advertising the absence of a rule it has relocated.

Split, payouts and the caps

The split is 90/10 in the trader’s favour, per the funded trader agreement last updated May 2026. Payouts are typically issued within 24 to 48 hours of approval, up to 72 outside business hours.

On Growth funded accounts the minimum payout runs $250 to $1,500 by size, the account must clear a buffer threshold, and you need five or more trading days each showing profit above $100 to $250 by size. The maximum per request is $1,000 to $5,000, rising with the payout number, and the trading-day count resets after each successful payout. Select Flex pays every five winning days with caps of $1,250 to $5,000 and no daily loss limit; Select Daily allows daily eligibility once the buffer is met, with lower caps and daily loss limits attached.

No scaling plan is documented anywhere we looked, and the $300K Select tier is described only as a limited release.

One clause to read before you buy: the agreement reserves authority to suspend payouts pending compliance reviews, with no time limits running during investigation periods. An open-ended investigation clause is standard enough in this sector, but it is the mechanism behind most payout-delay complaints anywhere, so know it is there.

Payout evidence

Third-party tracked: $286.6 million across 152,812 payouts, largest single payout $25,000, median payout time around two hours, split regionally as $177.2m North America, $53.3m Europe, $41.6m Asia. The usual caveat applies: that tracker sources its data directly from firms and monetises through affiliate codes, so it is firm-supplied data with third-party presentation, not third-party verification.

The firm’s own marketing claims $250 million-plus and 80,000-plus traders. Note that the marketing figure is lower than the tracker figure, which is what a stale marketing number looks like rather than an inflated one. Independently reported figures from the July 2026 interview put active traders above 100,000 with 400 on the live book. No independently audited payout total exists, here or anywhere in this industry.

Reputation

Trustpilot: 4.5 out of 5 from 4,186 reviews, with no warning or flag of any kind, distributed 86% five-star and 8% one-star. The firm has replied to 96% of negative reviews, typically within 48 hours.

The 86/8 shape with a thin middle is typical of prop firms generally, because traders either pass and are delighted or breach and are furious. What stands out is the 96% negative-reply rate, and the complete absence of Trustpilot enforcement across more than four thousand reviews, at a time when five of the eleven firms we checked in this round carry a suppression banner. Trustpilot’s own summary does note complaints about frustrating delays and account suspensions triggered by suspicious-activity flags.

Rule changes are dated and grandfathered

This deserves credit because it is rare. Contract limits were cut on 12 September 2025, with the $25K Growth account dropping from five contracts to one and the $150K from fifteen to twelve. The help centre preserves the pre-change figures for existing accounts. The Lightning $150K daily loss limit similarly differs for accounts purchased before a stated date.

That is the opposite of the retroactive-change pattern that produces most of the anger in this sector. The terms do permit unilateral change, as they do everywhere, but the observed behaviour has been to date the change and protect existing customers.

Odd drafting worth knowing about

The terms specify Florida governing law but require any action to be brought exclusively in state or federal court in Dallas, Texas, with jury trial and class action waived and a one-year limitation period. A Florida company nominating a Texas exclusive venue with no explained connection is unusual. It is not sinister, but if you ever needed to bring a claim, that is where you would be doing it.

Restricted countries

The list runs to nearly sixty countries and includes several that surprise people: Iceland, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Malaysia, Mauritius, Morocco, Pakistan, Panama, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam, alongside the expected sanctions-driven entries. Check the current list before you buy.

Restrictions apply to your country of residence, where you permanently live, rather than your current physical location. US residents are permitted, which is the point that matters most for the American readers our prop firm reviews otherwise struggle to serve.

Verdict

If you trade futures and you want a firm whose claims you can independently check, this is currently the best-evidenced option we have found. The payout caps are real and the open-ended compliance-review clause is worth knowing about, but the disclosure standard here is genuinely above the sector.

Before buying any evaluation, read our lesson on drawdown and losing streaks, because an end-of-day trailing drawdown behaves very differently from a static one and it is the rule that ends most challenges.

Risk Warning: Trading forex, CFDs, and prop firm products carries substantial risk. Losses can exceed expectations, so this content should be used for education, not as a guarantee of profit.

Prop-firm challenges involve upfront fees and evaluation or simulated accounts; rules, drawdown limits and payout terms vary by program and can change without notice. Nothing here is financial advice. Verify current rules and payout terms directly with the firm before purchasing.

Who Is It Best For?

Futures traders, particularly in the US, who want a firm whose claims they can independently verify. A direct alternative to Topstep and Apex Trader Funding. Less relevant if you trade forex or CFDs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Tradeify legit?

It is the most independently checkable firm we have reviewed. Tradeify Brokerage LLC, trading as Slay Markets, is a CFTC-registered introducing broker with an NFA identifier you can look up yourself in NFA BASIC, and NinjaTrader Clearing LLC is named as the futures commission merchant holding client funds. Almost no other firm in this sector gives you a regulatory identifier to check. We would encourage you to run that check rather than take our word for it.

Does Tradeify accept US traders?

Yes. Restrictions apply to your country of residence rather than your current physical location, and the US is not restricted. That makes it one of the few genuinely usable options for American traders, alongside Topstep and Apex.

Does Tradeify have a consistency rule?

Yes, but only on payouts, and the firm says so explicitly: the consistency rule determines when you can request a payout and does not restrict your trading. Growth has no consistency rule to pass and a 35 per cent gate on payouts. Select has a 40 per cent gate to pass and none once funded. Lightning has a progressive 20, 25 then 30 per cent gate on payouts. The firm publishes the arithmetic with a worked example.

How much does a Tradeify account cost?

Growth evaluations run $99 at $25,000 up to $369 at $150,000. Select runs $109 to $369, with a limited-release $300,000 tier at $449. Lightning, which skips the evaluation, runs $345 to $796. There are no activation fees and platform fees are free, though market data requires a non-professional agreement. Round-trip commissions are $5.76 on ES and $1.82 on MES.

Is Tradeify better than Topstep or Apex?

It is better documented than either. Whether it suits you better depends on the rules: Tradeify uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown and caps individual payout requests, which will matter more to some traders than the disclosure standard does. Read all three and pick on the rules you would actually trade against.
